With weakness and fatigue being common side effects experienced by many patients on long-term dialysis, the seca 685 digital multifunctional scale with wireless transmission was designed especially for this specialty.
The railing on three sides of the platform provides support for patients while they are being weighed. Patients may also be weighed while on the integrated folding seat, which can be lowered with just one hand. Furthermore, the platform is large enough to accommodate a wheelchair. The weight of up to three nurses and the wheelchair can be deducted from the total weight by the Pre-TARE function, leaving only the patient's weight in the display.
